Introduction
There are numerous lesson plan sites that offer both lesson plans and activities that match national standards and specific state standards. This sampling was chosen to represent sites that align best with the Michigan Framework for social studies. 

To find others, choose a search engine, and select key words such as "7 grade social studies lesson plans." For a recommended list of search engines and search indexes, go to Search the Web, a list of middle school appropriate sources, including "Choose the Best Search for Your Purpose."
