Introduction
There are numerous webquest sites that match national standards and specific state standards. This sampling was chosen to represent webquests that align best with the Michigan Framework for social studies and are age-appropriate for middle school students. To develop a better understanding of webquests, participate in The Middle School Webquest Quest, an introduction to evaluating webquest design and curriculum integration. It was developed by John Beaver, Professor of Education, Buffalo State College.
To find others, choose a search engine, and select key words such as "ancient china webquest." For a recommended list of search engines and search indexes, go to Search the Web, a list of middle school appropriate sources, including "Choose the Best Search for Your Purpose."
Links often change or disappear. It is recommended that you thoroughly review the webquest for content or evaluation, and check that links are active prior to sharing the webquest with your students.
